Paying homage to the Les Paul, this 50th Anniversary Gibson Historic Series Tom Murphy Aged R8 Goldtop is all original. There is a moderate to high level of relicing on this guitar though the guitar is in near mint condition from when it was produced in 2008. It comes with with it's Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson and an extra blank pickguard. The 50th Anniversary guard is installed currently.Some killing features on this golden beast include a single piece mahogany body, maple top, a ( very rare ) figured mahogany neck with '58 profile, bound rosewood fretboard, trapezoid inlays, a set of Gibson Burstbucker PAF replica humbuckers ( amazing! ), Bumblebee capacitors, cream binding and Gibson Deluxe tuners. For those that care to know, figured mahogany is exceptionally more rare than figured maple and adds a very nice depth to this guitar's look.Weight : 9.04 poundsSerial # : 88230
